Some
futurists such as Ray Kurzweil believe
that 3D printing will evolve to a replicator type device through
nanotechnology. If that happens then we
have to consider that the ability to create almost anything from base material
will make resources more available for less cost to produce. This would be because the base material could
be anything including hydrogen which is the most abundant element in the
universe. With the base material being
turned into more high demand materials including food we could develop more
sustainable resource production and support a larger populous. Do you believe this is true?
